A very scarce folder of plates showcasing British royal themed items from the Theatre Museum, published in celebration of Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee. Twelve plates, unbound, displayed together in a with the introduction printed on the inside. Collated complete.With a secondary silver folder with the royal seal stamped on the front cover.Undated, hence dated from the year of the Silver Jubilee. A very scarce collection of plates, being a souvenir for an exhibition held by the Theatre Museum in celebration of Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee. The items displayed relate to royal attendance or occasions in the theatre. The plates are laid out chronologically, from an artwork of a firework display held in 1749 at the River Thames, to a photograph of Queen Elizabeth II arriving at the National Theatre official opening in 1976. No binding. In the publisher's two folders. Externally, title and introduction folder is very smart with light edge wear. Head of the front cover is slightly age toned.
