He was also a noted ornithologist, and was the 30th president of the Royal Society.Twenty-six pages of publisher's adverts to the rear. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Spine is a little faded. Very light rubbing and marks to the cloth. Hinges are starting but firm.
