Collated, complete.Both volumes are from the 'Little Books on Art' series, edited by Cyril Davenport. In half morocco signed bindings by Bickers.With the morocco bookplate of W.A. Foyle of Beeleigh Abbey to the front pastedowns. William Foyle founded Foyles bookshop in 1903 alongside his brother. He purchased Beeleigh Abbey during the Second World War, an impressive twelfth century monastery in Essex. Beeleigh housed his library, one of the largest private libraries in England. In half morocco signed bindings, with cloth covered boards. Back strips age toned, as is common with blue morocco. Minor marks to head of 'Corot' boards. Bookplates to front pastedowns.
