He lived for many years near the Bronx Zoo in New York, which allowed him plenty of experience sketching live animals. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, with marks to the boards and a few damp stains. Rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with the odd spot.
