He notes the behaviours of animals such as jaguars, snapping turtles and "Howling monkeys". First and foremost, Bull was an illustrator, but known specifically for his illustration of wildlife. He lived for many years near the Bronx Zoo in New York, which allowed him plenty of experience sketching live animals. In the publisher's original cloth binding.
