The reviewer opines 'this is , in short, the most repellent science-fiction novel I have ever read [..] it is pornography as I have come to understand it; a literature of assault unrelieved by skill or artistic underlay&apos. The novel concludes with a torture scene that the reviewer explains is 'as horrid a succession of sado/maso stuff I've ever seen&apos.This was to be Gat's only novel.
