The poem recounts the experiences and reflections of the protagonist, a young shepherd named Edwin.This copy of the work includes critical observations prior, as well as vignettes throughout drawn by Richard Westall. In full crushed morocco binding. Externally, very smart with rubbing to the extremities, heaviest to the head and tail of spine. Marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with instances of scattered spotting, heaviest to the illustrative pages. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper. Page 175 has large loss. Very Good .
