'The Publican's Wife' was Estridge's second novel, telling the story of Sally Whitehead, a publican's wife who seems to know the entire goings and comings of The Grapes pub, along with the history of each of its patrons. The novel is set over one week, commencing with a chapter entitled 'Saturday Night', followed by 'Sunday Morning' and so forth, ending with the next 'Saturday Night&apos. Bound in the publisher's cloth. Externally, very smart, with light bumping and a little rubbing to the extremities. The odd mark to cloth and fading to the spine, with title faint.
