His poems are described as "brilliant and graceful", writing in decasyllabic quatrains, and rhyme royal, some of his works containing acrostics that spell out "Elisabetha Regina". In a full calf binding. Externally, generally smart. Front joint is strained. Light marks to the boards and spine. Spine is a little discoloured. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, with a small amount of loss to the tail of the spine. Front hinge is strained. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age-toned and generally clean, with scattered spots to the first and last few pages. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
