Major loss to tail of front board, with leather detached front the board. Loss of leather to back strip tail. Front joint starting, and held by cords only. Rear hinge strained, but firmly held. Front and rear free endpapers removed, with evidence of former owner's inscription. Internally, firmly bound. Lacking title page. Ink spot and handling marks to half title.
