The novel surrounds a chance encounter on a train, where narrator William Bradshaw meets and befriends a nervous looking man names Arthur Norris, subsequently discovering the several oddities of Mr Norris's life. Bound in the publisher's cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and a little fading to the extremities.
