Christopher Isherwood - Mr. Norris Changes Trains

Title: Mr. Norris Changes Trains
Description: London, The Hogarth Press , 1952 . Cloth. The fifth impression of Christopher Isherwood's novel surrounding a chance encounter on a train from the Netherlands to Germany. The fifth impression. First published in 1935. Bound in the publisher's cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Written by Anglo-American novelist and playwright, Christopher Isherwood, known for his semi-autobiographical novel 'Goodbye to Berlin', which inspired the musical 'Cabaret&apos. 'Mr. Norris Changes Trains' is set in early 1930's Berlin, at a time where the city was on the edge of starvation and civil war. The novel surrounds a chance encounter on a train, where narrator William Bradshaw meets and befriends a nervous looking man names Arthur Norris, subsequently discovering the several oddities of Mr Norris's life. Bound in the publisher's cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and a little fading to the extremities. Dust wrapper is very god, with light edge wear and the odd mark. Sunning to the wrap, heavier to the spine. Internally firmly bound with bright, clean pages. Very Good Indeed . Ill.: None. Very Good Indeed/Very Good.
