Collated complete. In the publisher's original cloth. This novel was written by English author, editor and journalist George Manville Fenn, and provides two stories, 'A Terrible Coward' which is a story about a boy who is afraid to make a dive and the perils of the sea, and 'Son Philp' a tale of a father and son. Undated, dated by copies held at the British Library.Publisher's advertisements to the rear, with monochrome illustrations. In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with slight fading to the spine, minimal rubbing to the extremities, slight cockling to the rear and marks to the boards. Offsetting to the free endpapers with an old ink inscription dated 1903. Internally generally firmly bound with cords showing in places. Pages lightly age toned with the odd spot throughout and spotting to the front and rear. Very minimal damp staining between pp. 56-7. Very Good . Ill.: None stated. Very Good .
