Also including one advert for the work, and two miscellaneous clippings relating to Heath.Including the twelve plates which were in the published edition.'Tales in Prose and Verse, and Dramas' contained a total of twelve tales, including supernatural tales. This work was published posthumously, the author having published on scientific subjects previously.Compiler's inscription to the front paste down and to the recto of the front endpaper. The inscription to the front endpaper details to whom copies were sent. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Light rubbing to the boards and spine. Cockling to the cloth to the tail of the front board. Spine and joints are a little faed. Small damp stains to the boards and to the head of the spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Compiler's inscription to the front paste down and to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound.
