This is a tale of 'a lunatic, a loafer, and a lover&apos.Each volume is illustrated with the occasional in-text engraving. By Arthur Brownlow Fforde, who also wrote 'The Trotter', and 'The Maid and the Idol&apos. In a full floral embroidered cloth with watered silk doublures, bound by R. Ingalton Drake of Eton. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing to the spine and extremities. Light rubbing and marks to the spine label. A small amount of label remnants to the tail of the spine. A small amount of loss to the head of the spine. Only a few minor marks to the boards, including discolouration to the tail of the front board. Front hinge is starting but firm.
