The narrative follows a crew of ten trying to hunt the Snark, but the only crewmember to find the Snark quietly vanishes. Written by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known by his pen name Lewis Carroll, an English author, poet, mathematician and photographer. Illustrated by Henry Holiday, an English painter, stained-glass designer, illustrator, and sculptor. In the original red cloth binding with gilt. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Hinges starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound.
