Bound in the publisher's original cloth, with the original, price-clipped dust wrapper. Written by Captain Geoffrey Martin Bennett, under the pseudonym "Sea-Lion". Bennett was a British Royal Navy officer, author and historian, who wrote around twenty novels for adults and children, including three science-fiction novels, of which 'This Creeping Evil' is one. This particular novel tells the story of Commander Thomas Delaney who is faced with a dangerous, horrible menace known only as the 'Thing', with the survival of Britain resting in Delaney's hands. Bound in the publisher's original cloth, with the original, price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, very good indeed, with light bumping to the extremities and the odd mark. Angus & Robertson bookseller label to the front paste down. Light offsetting and a small ink annotation to the front endpaper. Lacking the rear free endpaper. Light spotting to the fore edge. Dust wrapper is edge worn with significant loss to the rear board and the head and tail of the spine. Sunning to the spine and extremities of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound.
