'The Swiss Family Robinson' is a novel by Swiss author Johann David Wyss, which follows a Swiss family who are shipwrecked and have to make a home on an island.'The Swiss Family Robinson' is undated, dated 1901 by copies held institutionally. 'Robinson Crusoe' is dated 1901. Bound in full pictorial gilt cloth. Externally smart with very slight leans, light fading to the spines, bumping and rubbing to the extremities to 'Family Robinson' and a small closed tear to the head of the spine with bumping to the head and the tail to 'Robinson Crusoe&apos. Ink inscription dated 1904 to the front free endpaper and the odd spot to the endpapers to 'Family Robinson' with offsetting and a prize bookplate from 'Huddersfield School Board' to the front pastedown to 'Robinson Crusoe&apos. Internally generally firmly bound with the title page to pp. iv starting to 'Swiss Family Robinson', bright and generally clean pages with the odd spot. Very Good . Ill.: J. D. Watson. Very Good .
