He was known as an extreme Whig, or a whig-radical, and was a strong supporter of Queen Caroline of Brunswick. In a full calf binding. Front board detached. Head and tail of rear joint starting, with board firmly held. Small loss of leather to back strip head, with rubbing to back strip tail. Internally, firmly bound. Inscription to head of title page.
