In this particular adventure, Quatermain is one of the few survivors of the Battle of Isandlwana, a real battle which occurred during the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879. This is the last in a trilogy, following 'Marie' and 'Child of Storm&apos. Illustrated with a monochrome frontispiece. Collated, complete. Bound in the publisher's green cloth. Externally, excellent, with minor shelf wear and light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Light spotting to fore edge and endpapers. Internally, firmly bound.
