First edition. Bound in the publisher's green cloth. Written by English writer Sir Henry Rider Haggard, who was best known for his exciting works of adventure fiction, set in far-off locations. 'Finished' features fictional character Allan Quatermain, an English big-game hunter and adventurer who appears in many other novels by Haggard. In this particular adventure, Quatermain is one of the few survivors of the Battle of Isandlwana, a real battle which occurred during the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879. This is the last in a trilogy, following 'Marie' and 'Child of Storm&apos. Illustrated with a monochrome frontispiece. Collated, complete. Bound in the publisher's green cloth. Externally, excellent, with minor shelf wear and light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Light spotting to fore edge and endpapers. Internally, firmly bound.
