Today it is an important port which is the only natural harbour on the eastern coast of India, and is the fifth busiest in the country.Barry was a civil engineer best known for his work on Tower Bridge, constructed between 1887 and 1894.Collated, lacking the appendix sheets to the pocket. In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing and discolouration to the boards. Spine is a little faded, with a small amount of loss to the head and tail of the spine. Minor bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound.
