Venables was the Chairman of the Magistrates for Radnorshire for thirty years, where he was the employer of the famous diarist Francis Kilvert.Collated, complete. In the original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Light marks to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Small chips to the head of the boards, and a small amount of loss to the head of the spine. Spine is a little faded. Hinges are a little strained but remain firm. Bookplate to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with scattered spots. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
