'The Head' had previously appeared in a magazine, while 'The Deadfall' was published in a series of ghost stories. The final story, 'O'Kelly's Angel' appears in this collection for the first time, with Hughes writing it just after he left university. Bound in the publisher's original cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, lovely. Dust wrapper is also excellent, with a little sunning to the spine.
