Her writing often presented moral life lessons, endearing the younger generation to think about their actions. This particular edition features eight beautifully bright colour illustrations by English book illustrator Arthur Rackham. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original red cloth binding. Externally, very good, with light bumping to the extremities and the odd mark to cloth. Fading to the spine, with a little fading to the head of the front board. Bookseller label to the rear paste down. Age toning and the odd spot to endpapers. Hinges are a touch strained, but holding firm. Internally, firmly bound.
