Previously held in the library of Sir Robert Francis Mudie, a British civil servant and a member of the British Indian Civil Service during the British Raj. He was the last British and colonial Governor of Sind and served as the first Governor of West Punjab in the Dominion of Pakistan. In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and fading to the spine. The odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light spotting to the extremities. A singular worm hole from the title page to the seventh page. Author's inscription to the front endpaper.
