Externally, a little worn, with damp staining to the cloth and edge wear. Slight loss to the head of the spine, with an additional small tear to the spine. Backstrip is lifting from the textblock. Front endpaper and front blank are marked and tenderly held. Internally, binding is slightly tender, with frontispiece half detached and page 209 detached but present.
