Thomas Shotter Boys was a nineteenth-century English painter, watercolourist, and lithographer who was well-known for his works 'Picturesque Architecture in Paris', 'Ghent', 'Antwerp', 'Rouen', etc. and this work, 'Original Views of London', which was originally published in 1842.Written and edited by E. Beresford Chancellor. Illustrated with a frontispiece in colour along with twenty-five further plates in black-and-white. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart, with slight rubbing to the extremities and the occasional mark to boards. A little rubbing to the head and tail of the spine, with a touch of fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean, with light spotting in places. Very Good .
