Loosely inserted is the original publisher's advertisement for this book, with a brightly coloured image and a description of the work, with a page of 'New and Important Books' from the publisher.Previous owner's ink inscription of Wilfred Granville. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and the occasional mark. Light rubbing to the spine. Front hinge slightly strained but holding firm. Age toning to endpapers, with a previous owner's ink inscription to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound.
