Under the blazing sun, these creatures and plants develop rapidly, later becoming discovered by a small boy called Wolfe. Despite the creatures being benevolent, they disrupt the order of the quiet fishing town. Written by Northern Irish novelist and activist, Stephen Gilbert, who was labelled by E. M. Forester as "a writer of distinction". In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with minor shelf wear and a touch of fading to the head and tail of the spine.
