Externally, sound with rubbing and light bumping resulting in loss to the head of the spine and board edges. Light fading to the spine with splits in the cloth to the joints. Hinges tender with a tear to the joint of the front endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound with front endpapers loosening and pages vii to xi detached but present.
