The work explores the old architecture of London and what survived of it as of the beginning of the twentieth century, a wonderful work on the treasure of beauty and antiquity in the city. In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with slight cockling to the boards, bumping to the extremities and slight marks to the boards. Bookplate belonging to 'Mary Glennie' to the front pastedown with very light offsetting and an old ink inscription dated 1922 to the front free endpaper.
