Many different author's contribute to this series, although this particular work was written solely by the Duke. This volume discusses driving horses, with chapters on carriages, sleighing and tandem-driving, among many others. Profusely illustrated with twelve full-page illustrations and numerous vignettes. Collated, complete. Illustrations by G. D. Giles and John Sturgess.With the bookplate of Pantia Ralli. In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities and spine. The odd mark to the cloth. Bookplate to front paste down. Internally, firmly bound.
