The novel is set in the late 17th century in Devon and Somerset, around Exmoor, and it tells the story of Lorna Doone, her romance and her interesting family history. Slight bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of the spine. The odd mark to the cloth. Fading to the spine. Hinges are slightly strained but holding firm. Internally, firmly bound.
