Set in Spain, this novel follows Hetta Paloczy as she uncovers a Communist plot to assassinate an American Admiral during his visit to inspect a NATO base. Written by Mary Ann Dolling, under the pseudonym Anne Bridge, an English writer. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, excellent. The dust wrapper of The Journal of Edwin Carp is price-clipped while The Episode at Toledo is not. Both wrappers are very smart with light shelf wear and light discolouration.
