This set includes three of her novels: The Realms of Gold (1975) explores the mid-life experiences of anthropologist Frances Wingate and her affair with Karel Schmidt. The Ice Age (1977) follows the former BBC producer Anthony Keating as he experiences the ups and downs of the 1960s and 1970s, including the property crisis in Britain during that period. The Middle Ground (1980) explores British urban life through the eyes of middle-aged journalist Kate Armstrong. In the publisher's original cloth bindings, with the original unclipped dust wrappers, except for The Realms of Gold, which has a price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is in lovely condition.
