Collated, complete. Costello lived in Paris and was a prolific writer on subjects ranging from travel, art and literature.In this work, she provides an account of time spent in the Loire, Nantes, St. Malo, Bretagne, Chambord and Paris. She describes the literature and poets associated with these regions, and encounters churches, cathedrals and castles. In the publisher's original cloth bindings. Bumping to back strip heads and tails, and a touch of discolouration to back strips. Rear hinge of volume II strained and a touch tender. Internally, firmly bound.
