A lovely collection of poetry with well-known verses by John Milton, Thomas Gray, William Shakespeare, Lord Tennyson, John Keats, William Wordsworth, and William Cowper, among others. Included alongside these poems are three chromolithographs by the Leighton Brothers, who founded a printing firm for colour wood-engravings and lithographs. Lacking six plates. Undated, dated through copies held at University of Cambridge Libraries. In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with a little fading to the spine, a mark to the front board and small losses to the colour plate to the front board. Internally, firmly bound.
