This set includes; 'Burger's Daughter' is a political and historical novel an tells the story of a anti-apartheid activist group in South Africa. 'Soldier's Embrace' is a collection of short stories set in South Africa. 'July's People' is a fictitious novel which depicted Gordimer's predictions of how the apartheid in South Africa could end.  'A Sport of Nature' follows the story of 'Kim Capran' who renames herself and marries a man from congress. 'Something out There' is a collection of stories.
