His mother, the artist Jane Elizabeth Cook, encouraged Theodore to travel around Europe, which inspired this book. Undated, dated through copies held at the British Library. In a half cloth binding. Externally sound, with marks to the boards and spine and light shelf wear to the extremities. Front hinge is slightly strained, but held firmly by cords. Internally, firmly bound.
