Helen Layfield Bradley (1900-1979) was an English artist whose works often illustrated Edwardian society in Lancashire. She frequently painted the character Miss Carter, known for always wearing pink; she was also illustrated in the work 'And Miss Carter Wore Pink&apos. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is in excellent condition. Gilt remains bright. Internally, firmly bound.
