In the publisher's original cloth binding. Tide marks to head of front board. Joints starting, with boards tender. Cloth at back strip head detaching. Lacking free endpapers. Internally, binding failed due to gutta percha. Small closed tears and chipping to page perimeters. Pages generally bright, with foxing to title page, and spotting throughout.
