Ink inscription of David Fyfe Anderson, dated 1950, to the recto of the front free endpaper. David Fyfe Anderson was a obstetrician and gynaecologist who taught at the University of Glasgow. In a half calf binding with cloth to the boards, bound by Bayntun-Riviere. Externally, smart. A few light marks to the boards and spine, and light rubbing to the extremities. Spine is a little faded. Bookplate to the front paste down. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of the front free endpaper. Spots to the fore edge and endpapers. Internally, firmly bound.
