'William's Happy Days' is the first cheap edition, published in 1931.Two pages of adverts to the rear of 'William the Fourth&apos. Three pages of adverts to the rear of 'William the Conqueror&apos. One page of adverts to the rear of 'William the Good&apos.Prior owner's gift inscription to the front pastedown of 'William the Conqueror', dated 1926. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. Spines of 'Fourth', 'Outlaw', and 'Trouble' are a little faded and discoloured, lighter fading to the spines of 'Trouble', 'Conqueror', and 'Happy Days&apos. Crack to the rear joint of 'Fourth&apos. A few light marks to the boards and spines, fewer to 'Conqueror&apos. Extremities of the boards of 'Outlaw' a little faded. Light damps stains to the boards of 'Trouble&apos. Spots to the fore edges. Hinges of 'Fourth' are starting but firm. Front hinge of 'Still William' starting but firm. 'William the Conqueror' lacks front endpaper. No rear endpaper to 'William in Trouble&apos. 'William the Good' lacks front endpaper. Prior owner's ink inscription to the front paste down of 'William the Conqueror' and 'William the Good&apos. Internally, firmly bound, 'Fourth', 'Still William', and 'Trouble' generally firmly bound. Pages are bright with the occasional spot and handling mark. Very Good . Ill.: Thomas Henry. Very Good .
