The Parthenopean republic was a semi-autonomous republic supported by the French First Republic located with the Kingdom of Naples that only lasted from January 21th to 13th June 1799. In the original publisher's cloth. Externally very smart with the odd light mark to the boards, fading to the spine and bumping to the extremities resulting in light rubbing to the cloth. Offsetting to the end papers with an ink dedication inscription dated 1931 to the front free end paper. Internally firmly bound with bright pages.
