This work documents the results of his observations made on the Islands and looks into the anthropology and folklore of The Melanesians. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally excellent with very minimal discolouration to the rear board and light spotting to the end papers. Very minor offsetting to the front end papers. The wrap is very smart with light sunning to the spine, minor handling marks and the odd chip.
