This work was written as a report on his field work he undertook, along with his wife, in the Eastern Central Highlands of New Guinea. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart with bumping to the tail of the spine resulting in a closed tear to the cloth. The wrap is generally very smart with bumping to the spine, light chipping, creasing and rubbing to the extremities. Light spotting to the fly leaves and spotting to the reverse.
