This work is a collection of reprints of his essays and articles which were published in the Daily Telegraph, and in other journals and magazines. These articles contain accounts of travel in Japan, Israel, and Africa, among other places, and are illustrated throughout with the author's photographs and illustrations by Ben Boothby.
