Some minor marks to the boards, a little heavier to the rear board. Spots to the fore edge. Author's inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Minor edge wear to the dust wrapper, with small chips and closed tears, heavier to the head and tail of the spine, and to the folds of the fly leaves. Wraps are discoloured, mostly to the spine.
