He is best remembered for his novel The Ginger Man, which was initially banned for obscenity. The Saddest Summer of Samuel S is a novella, following the isolated and analytical protagonist through Vienna, as he falls prey to a shrewd American college girl.Meet My Maker the Mad Molecule is a collection of short stories and sketches, including Franz F, A Fairytale of New York, and Whither Wigwams.
