Alfred Harmsworth, 1st Viscount Northcliffe (1865-1922), was the owner of the Daily Mail and the Daily Mirror, and for a shorter period, The Observer and The Times. He was a pioneer of popular journalism for the working class and had great influence over British popular opinion during the Edwardian era. In this work, he provides an account of his travels around the world, from July 1921 to February 1922. He passed away in August of the same year. This work was edited by his brothers Cecil and St. John Harmsworth, and published posthumously. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally fairly smart, except for marks to the front board and spine. Spine is slightly darkened. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age toned but clean. Very Good . Ill.: Not Stated. Very Good .
