Published in a printing of three hundred copies for England, and two hundred copies with American Imprint for sale in that country. The present one of the two hundred with American Imprint. Complete in two volumes. A scarce edition. Containing the memoirs of John Hutchinson (1615-1664), English politician who sat in the House of Commons of England. He fought in the parliamentary army in the English Civil War and he was one of the 59 Commissioners in the high court of justice to sign the death warrant of King Charles I. Written by his widow Lucy. Edited from the original manuscript by the Rev Julius Hutchinson. Revised, with additional notes, by C H Firth. Illustrated with ten etched portraits of eminent personages.    Rebound in handsome full calf by Zaehnsdorf, with gilt panelled spines, titles in gilt to morocco spine labels, marbled endpapers, gilt to top edge.
