As a publisher he produced Thomas Gray's 'Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard', and also collaborated with the innovative printer John Baskerville. In a rebacked calf binding, with new endpapers. Externally, smart, boards are rubbed and a little discoloured. Minor bumping to the extremities. A few small marks to the boards. Prior owner's ink inscription to the verso of the rear free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned with some scattered spots. Tape repair to the gutter before the title page. Very small worm hole to pages v -viii, of 'The Toy-Shop&apos.
